The University of Indonesia scholarship offers a range of benefits to its recipients:
- Tuition Fee Waiver: This scholarship covers the tuition expenses for the duration of the scholarship.
- Visa Expenses Coverage: Includes the cost of student visa application (IDR 200,000) and VITAS (USD 150), provided once.
- Stay Permit Coverage: Assists with the cost of a stay permit, amounting to IDR 2,500,000 per year.
- Arrival Ticket Allowance: Provides an allowance for the arrival ticket, capped at IDR 5,000,000, applicable once.
- Departure Ticket Allowance: Offers an allowance for the departure ticket, up to IDR 5,000,000, applicable once.
- Settlement Cost Allowance: Grants an allowance of IDR 1,500,000 for settlement costs, once.
- Health Insurance Allowance: Provides IDR 400,000 per month to cover health insurance expenses.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants need the following requirements to be eligible for the University of Indonesia Scholarship Programme.
- UI GREAT scholarship is for non-Indonesian citizens applying for a master’s degree at Universitas Indonesia.
- Applicants should not already have a master’s degree.
- Applicants must meet both UI Degree admission requirements and UI GREAT Scholarship eligibility.
- Check UI Degree admission requirements at admission.ui.ac.id/.
- All admission processes occur through admission.ui.ac.id/.
- The scholarship does not cover language preparatory courses (Indonesian or English).
- For a master’s degree in research, applicants need to submit a research proposal during the selection process.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 while studying at UI.
- Applicants should not be registered as students at other universities in Indonesia, with or without a scholarship from the Indonesian Government/University/Institution.
- Scholarship recipients cannot be registered at other universities/institutions in Indonesia before completing their studies at Universitas Indonesia.
- Applicants must have received at least 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccination.
Admission Guideline
- Applicants do not need to pay the application registration fee for UI GREAT.
- Merge UI GREAT Letter of Statement and Recommendation Letter from the Indonesia Embassy into one PDF, maximum size 3MB.
- Applicants must meet English proficiency requirements.
- If Indonesian language proficiency is needed but not met, submit a Letter of Commitment for Language.
