Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
Applicants need the following requirements to be eligible for the Gates scholarship.
- Required Languages: Candidates must be experts in English to be eligible for this Scholarship.
- Eligible countries: Candidates from all world countries be eligible for this scholarship.
- Applicant must belong to one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American
- Applicants must be a high school senior

- Applicants must be US citizens, national, or permanent resident
- Applicants must obtain good academic standing with a minimum cumulative weighted GPA of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
