About Shanghai Government Scholarship
The Shanghai Government Scholarship (SGS) is a scholarship program established by the Shanghai Municipal Government to support international students studying in Shanghai china. Shanghai Government Scholarship Benefit
- Type A Scholarship: Type A scholarship is for fully funded scholarship programs, including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs. It covers tuition fees, and accommodation on campus, provides medical insurance, and provides a monthly living allowance of CNY 3,500 for the Doctoral Program, CNY 3,000 for the Graduate (Master) program, and CNY 2,500 for the Undergraduate program.
- Type B Scholarship: Type B scholarship is for partial scholarship programs, and provides tuition fee waivers and comprehensive medical insurance.
Shanghai Government Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Required Languages: Candidates must achieve a Chinese level of HSK4 and meet the language requirements of the applied university and program.
- Eligible countries: Candidates from all world countries be eligible for the Shanghai Government Scholarships. [Candidates must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health condition.
- Pre-College Program:
Must have a high school diploma.
Age should be under 23. - Bachelor’s Degree Program:
Must have a high school diploma.
Age should be under 25. - Master’s Degree Program:
Must have a bachelor’s degree.
Age should be under 35. - Doctoral Degree Program:
