Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship provides the following scholarship Benefits.
- This Scholarship cover tuition fee and living expenses only.
- Ph.D. program funding for the first two years only; after that students are expected to find other financial sources
- Financial aid is based on student needs.
- Applicants are asked to try their best to get money from other places too. This way, the amount they ask from the Foundation can be as small as possible.
- Preference is given to applicants, who have been able to secure funding from other alternative sources.
Loan Condition
- Half of the scholarship amount is considered a loan.
- The loan must be reimbursed with an annual service charge of 5%.
- Required guarantor for co-signed loan agreement
- 5 years as a payback period. Repayment starts from 6 months after the study period supported by the Aga Khan Foundation
